HUH? WHAT?
Making a film can be a lengthy process – endless script rewrites, endless meetings and negotiations, funding applications up the whazoo! Filmmaker Kris Booth and screenwriter Ramona Barckert wrote a ultra-low budget screenplay that will be produced Fall 2008.
And they are building their production budget by collecting other people’s pocket change.
AS IF!
It’s true. We’re collecting other people’s piggy banks – pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters.
Plus, we’re accepting contributions of up to $100. Such a contribution will get you a coveted ‘Funded By’ Credit on the finished film.
WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE, ANYWAY?
The Pocket Change Film team. We wish we were super-heroes but alas, we are just humble Canadian filmmakers.
Awesome people are joining the Pocket Change Film team everyday, so keep checking back for updates!
AND WHERE ARE YOU AT RIGHT NOW?
We have $30,000 – just a little shy of our needs for production this fall. We are still fundraising. Any contribution, right down to the penny, is much appreciated.
YOU REALLY WANT MY PENNIES, NICKELS AND DIMES?
Yes! Yes. We do.
I’M IN! HOW DO I CONTRIBUTE?
