krisKris Booth (Director, Co-Writer, Co-Producer)

Kris is passionate about “gettin’ it done”.  He has directed six short films in the last 8 years, screening them in festivals all over the world and winning numerous awards.  Yet, as much as he loves shortstuff, he’s always worked towards something a bit taller…longer…. feature length.  But wait… Backstory…
“Jaws” – He saw the movie when he was young. At that point Kris knew what he wanted to be when he grew up – a Cop! You know, so that he could hunt sharks and save the day. Imagine his shock when he found out that, NOPE, police officers don’t do that. From there the logical step to what Kris wanted to be when he grew-up was obviously Marine Biologist. So he could save sharks. However, this profession required a good head for Mathematics. Hmmm Math… Next… Around the time of “Back to the Future” and “the Goonies” Kris started to understand that what he really wanted to be was a film director. He may not have known what a film director does, but he had it - BLAM! He was going to be A Film Director - Kris was going to make movies! So in 1999, after film school, Kris co–founded the production company Shoes Full of Feet, now in development with three feature films, all of which Kris is slated to direct. Kris’ newest endeavour has him using the internet to start a ‘pocket change fund’; collecting pocket change to fund production of his project “At Home By Myself… With You”. But if you are reading this bio… you probably already know that. Kris currently lives in
Toronto, Canada and is slated to marry the fabulous Andrea McCulloch in August (hopefully that project won’t get stuck in development hell).

ramonaRamona Barckert (Co-writer, Co-Producer)

When Ramona was a girl, she wanted to be a poet. And also? A vampire slayer. As she grew older, she realized the two occupations were highly impractical as becoming a poet required skills she did not posses, including the ability to live without an income of any kind. And being a vampire slayer required – well, vampires to exist. So she became a screenwriter instead.Ramona is developing the half-hour series Slacker Moms for CBC and Georgian Entertainment and wrote the TV movie For the Love of Grace for the Hallmark Channel. Ramona has previously worked on The Smart Woman Survival Guide (W Network) and The Latest Buzz (Family Channel). Ramona holds an Honors BA from York University in English Literature, indicating that she, at one time, read books. She lives in Guelph with Bug, Pugs, Miss Petunia and The Man. None of whose real names she can remember at this exact moment.

BryceAdmiral B.D. Mitchell (Producer)

Bryce attended the Claude Watson School for the Arts, in Toronto, where he participated in various disciplines including dance, music, visual arts and theatre. In 1996 he entered the Ryerson Polytechnic University Film Studies program, from which he graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree. In the spring of 1999 Bryce co-founded the company SHOES FULL OF FEET. Since that time SHOES has produced seven short films, notably THE CLOCK IS TICKING, the OMDC Al Waxman Calling Card Program recipient SAFE and the award winning FOR ALL THE MARBLES. Bryce has worked in such notable production companies as Victorious Films, Northwood Productions, and Robert Lantos’ Serendipity Point Films. In 2007 Bryce graduated from the Canadian Film Centre’s Producer Residence Program and has since gone on to produce THE MORNING PARTY through the CFC Short Dramatic Film program.

RyanRyan Goldhar, Executive Producer.

Ryan was born in the height of Rock and Roll, and like most other fans, came to love it 20 years after those bands had broken up. In the Eighties, he came to sport Pastel coloured Jackets like his Idol Crockett from Miami Vice. Following in the Nineties, he then followed suit by wearing nothing but black with a black trenchcoat. He was also an avid Hacky Sacker (while wearing said Black trenchcoat.) Finishing Film/multimedia at York in 1997, he then ran the voice recording Studio at the Characters Talent Agency. Getting bored by being stuck in a 4 x 7 foot room, he then pursued a career in Radio Broadcasting in Ottawa for 2 years donning the moniker Dr. Yan, which he wears today. Ryan has since worked in Film/TV music supervision in Vancouver, was an Agent representing Cinematographers and currently owns and operates Casting Link Services since 2002. Ryan also ran and lost in the 2006 Toronto Mayoral Election. He had 788 votes.
